Les Klug (1930-1988) was an American photographer who desired to not only take photographs, but to make them. He used photography in unconventional ways that progressed the medium immensely. Through techniques such as solarization and double exposure, he created imaginative images that play with the viewers concepts of reality. Much of Les Klug’s work can be found in the Wisconsin Artists Collection at Carroll University, and a few can be found at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, IL.
